Next OKLAHOMA HOUSE CONCERT with Glenn Roth

9/13/2017
The next Oklahoma House Concert at the Chaparral Retreat is coming up this Saturday, September 16 at 6:30 PM.

We are attracting people not only from Watonga and nearby towns, but also from Weatherford and the OKC suburbs.  This is the second time Glenn Roth has included us  as part of his tour -- the only place in Oklahoma he is performing.  We have attracted the interest of a freelance writer/photographer who is talking about "pitching" a story to publications who have published her work in the past.  Keeping fingers crossed!!

We already have House Concert dates for October 15, and in November and December -- events will be posted on Oklahoma House Concerts facebook page.  The October date will include an art auction, and we are in the process of getting donations of art to auction off as a fundraiser for the Watonga Arts Center.

111 E. Main St. Arts Center

Aug 31, 2017

BEFORE
                                                                                                                AFTER  (Sample)

The new windows have arrived -- next week we'll be working on removing this front and replacing it with something a little more attractive! PLEASE KEEP DONATIONS coming - either directly to Phoenix Circle Foundation or through our GOFUNDME campaign.
I've asked before and will keep asking until we reach our goal -- if every friend and every person who supports arts education, and every person in the community who understands what a new storefront and a new business can mean for Main Street will send in just $10, we'll be able to open our doors sooner than later. OUR THANKS to all who have been supporting this effort with their donations and attendance at our music and pizza events!

FYI:   We are keeping the brick work on the top of the building, and will have a brick footing below the front windows.

A SPECIAL INVITATION TO ARTISTS: We will be holding a silent Art Auction in late September and are asking for donations of works from artists from all over ... pass along the word. Proceeds will go toward this building fund. Phoenix Circle Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and receipts will be provided. We're stilll in the process of organizing the event -- place and date TBA, but deadline for submissions is Sept. 17. Contact me at phoenixcir@yahoo.com or by cell: 940-735-1065. THANKS in advance for your participation.
